Aruba HM Girls!!!

Recommend your resort/hotel...
All Inclusive???

Why did you choose this particular hotel?

This will help so much, we are soooo close to booking our HM!!

we were adviced not to go all inclusive because all of the restaurants and bars,

we are staying at the radison and staying in a plaza club suite got a winter special for an awesome price!

thanks!! you mean because there are so many, you dont want to be tied down to an all inclusive??

I heard they did renovations on the radisson is that true??? IT got good reviews!~!

we're staying at the marriott surf club. my parents have a time share and go at least twice a year. they offered us one of their weeks so we took it.

I'm so excited you started this post! My fiance and I have airfare to get down there, but have yet to select the hotel.

We are inbetween the RIU (all inclusive) and the Hyatt.

Also do you have any suggestionsfor excursions and some restaurant recommendations?

i definitely wouldn't do all inclusive there. there are a TON of good restaurants (including ones where you can eat on the beach at sunset, very romantical). it would be a shame to miss them all because you have to eat at the hotel.

We're staying the Divi Beach & Golf Resort. we chose it because the Divi's all have great reviews. we havent decided whether or not to do all inclusive. my aunt was telling me over the weekend (she has a timeshare in aruba and goes a few times a year) that all inclusive may not be worth it becuase the restaurants there are amazing and reasonably priced. she also suggested renting a car which she said was a great price. she was gonna email me a list of must go places in aruba (restaurants/bars/beaches etc) as soon as i get it i will post it here for all the aruba honeymooners

I actually loved all Inclusive in Aruba. We ate all we could dream of for breakfast and lunch not to mention drinks drinks drinks and then for dinnner we stayed on the resort or went into town. It was nice to not hafta travel if we just wanted to relax. I stayed at the Divi Divi--this was for vacation not my hm and the food was fantastic!! As for restaurants I highly recommend El Gaucho--best steak ever!!

PS_ u MUST go to flying fishbone restaurant @ sunset and get a table in the water or on the point... one of the best nights of our lives!!!!!

WE loved it so much were going back next winter already!!

I'm going to Aruba & we're staying at the Occidental Grande - FH's aunt got us an all inclusive room so we didn't have much choice but heard great things about it! It's one of the nicer ones in Aruba. We plan on going to diff restaurants not at the hotel also so we figured why not, this way when we're there we don't have to worry about paying for anything.
Friends of mine stayed at the Marriott and said it was gorgeous too!

But we are also DEF going to the Flying Fishbone..can't wait!

I stay at the marriott but also recommend the Hyatt for Honeymoons :)

No need for All Inclusive because there are so many great places to eat!

We are staying at the Renaissance Marina - Adults only. We did do all-inclusive because we were told everything is exspensive and also we didn't want to have to travel with tons of money. For us it is nice to know everything is taken care up and paid for and just enjoy ourselves.

we stayed at the Renassance too and it was amazing, the private island they have was gorgeous. we didnt to all incluve and probably should have just because we drank so darn much. but there were some amazing restaurants outside the hotel too.

I only do all inclusive for the drinks and simple snack stuff. Ill splurge on the dinner if the place is really amazing!
