Hey ladies .... first I want to say congratulations on all your 07 weddings!! Second I wanted to ask anyone that whent to Aruba for their HM ... what hotel did you stay in and did you love your HM??? my choices for hotel are RIU Palace, The Westin or The Hyatt?? TIA!!!

I stayed at the Radisson. Not on my HM, though.
Aruba was beautiful.
I def recommend Chez Janet (or josephine...ask the hotel people...great steaks) and Flying fishbone for an intra-water dining experience.
Also, try to go to baby beach with some fish food and snorkle gear.

We stayed at the Westin Aruba for our honeymoon and LOVED it.
We booked it through aruba4u.com and had the honeymoon package, oceanfront suite, the works!
I highly recommend it! I cant wait to go back!!!!

I didn't go on my honeymoon but, we went for our first anniversary.
We stayed at both the Westin and the Hyatt (we had points).
Of the two - we liked the Hyatt more. The rooms and restaurants at both were very nice, the Westin had a better casino and better gym but, we enjoyed the outside area more at the Hyatt - they had a waterslide, a swim up bar and hot tubs (which the Westin didn't have). I also enjoyed their outside bar better.
ETA - I would recommend either the Hyatt or Westin over the Riu though because there are so many good places to eat in Aruba - I wouldn't suggest doing an all inclusive.

My second time going to Aruba will be this August. We booked the Hyatt. First time stayed at the Occidental - hated it. Besides, it is all inclusive which is a total waste on Aruba. Too many great restaurants to eat at, and there's even a Dunkin Donuts on the beach for morning coffee.

We stayed at the Radisson and had a great time! Aruba is perfect and beautiful! You will have a great time. There is sooooooo much to do there! Beach, pool, excursions.... The Westin looked beautiful (Blossoms rocks!! it is a Japanese hibatchi place) and the Hyatt was nice (we really just walked by it). The Riu looked great but way too big and overdone for our liking and I heard it is only all inclusive. There are so many things to do there, and so many great restaurants, like La Tratorria by the California Lighthouse (it is italian), El Gauchos (steakhouse downtown Oranejansted), Blossoms in the Westin was phenomenal( we think better than Benihana's), Gilligans at the Radisson was great for lunch or a low key bar/grill dinner, and also we did Dinner by Torchlight at the Radisson (it was a romantic torchlight dinner on the beach where it is just the two of you!) You can't go worng with Aruba! The island is great!! Good luck!

I didn't stay there for our HM, but I've stayed at the Hyatt, and it was amazing. Yea there are wayyy too many good restaraunts to do all inclusive. The Hyatt's pools were fantastic, and the beach area was perfect.
