Aruba Honeymoon HELP!!!

FH and I are planning on going to Aruba for our honeymoon. I have never traveled international so I need lots of advice!!

What is the best way to book this trip? I have been informed of cheapcarribean.com so far

What are some GOOD hotels to stay for a honeymoon??? Without tons of kids! if possible...

I'd look on travelocity too or even booking directly through the airline. i did that for jamaice (through american airlines) and st lucia (through jet blue). I love booking directly through the airlines.

OR i'd suggest a travel agent!

We are thinking of the Hyatt or Renaissance.

I hear ya...we have had friends recommend Divi, Occidental, and Westin

We really want all-inclusive so that we don't have to worry about carrying money around and we can just relax

I did all inclusive last year in Aruba at the occidental and the food was TERRIBLE! I'd recommend staying at the Hyatt which is beautiful and going to all of the restaurants on the island... there are a ton of really great restaurants there!

I was looking into Aruba for our HM and found that all inclusive is not the way to go due to the amazing restaurants on the island....when looking for hotels I would suggest tripadvisor.com - very helpful reviews on that site. Good Luck!

I stayed at the Marriot Renaissance last year and did all inclusive- it was perfect! We had at least 5 places to choice to eat- including a steak house that was open to the public. All the food was expensive when we looked at other reservations.

The Renaissance is away from the rest of the hotels so you can walk to the 'downtown' area for shopping. There is also an adults only hotel and pool as well as a family area. You take a boat to a private island for the beach which was fun and it felt super exclusive.

I would go back and stay in the same place and do all inclusive in heart beat!

I booked my flights and hotel - AAA was $1,000 more for the same flights and hotel. I stayed at the Radisson, which is in the process of being re-done. Did not do an all-inclusive. Wanted to take advantage of all of the great restaurants.

I booked my flights through jet blue's website and the hotel through the riu website
