Anyone know about rain? Where to stay? Is 8 nights enough?

Aruba is great any time of year. I never had rain there & I went a few times in different months.
Aruba has an annual rainfall of less than 20 inches.
*eta: 8 nights is great!

Aruba is actually known as the island that never gets rain. So, you don't have to worry about that. I love Aruba. It does get pretty hot there compared to the rest of the islands but it is still a beautiful place. Good Luck!

Actually they do have a rainy season. We were there the 1st week of december 2 months ago and it rained everyday. We were told that was normal for that time of year. Definately check, but 8 days is totally enough time to spend there.

Where did you stay? We are leaning towards the Radisson. Has anyone stayed at Bucuti? Its highly recommended for honeymooners - secluded, quiet - but FH and I are more of the party couple then the romantic couple and think we may get bored.

I did Aruba this past December...there was NO RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go there anytime and you're pretty much guaranteed NICE weather!!!!!!

It totally rained when I was there. A little bit almost every day and one morning it rained quite a bit. That was in July. Even when it rained it pretty much stopped before you could pick your stuff up and get under cover. After running for the hotel and having the rain stop before we got there a few times, we started to just lay on the beach while it rained. It was nice. We cooled off and the sun came right back out, like it never happened.

we just booked our honeymoon to aruba for 8 nights and we're staing at the Renaissance. THe hotel looks amazing and its got its own private island. Check it out! When we went to the travel agent , i was pretty sure about booking the radisson until we were shown pics of this hotel!!

we booked our HM at the Bucuti..it is more secluded and they have brand new suites being built right now..it's on Eagle beach..

We are staying at the Marriott Resorts. It's on Palm Beach where the casinos and action is, but it's on the ned of the strip, so we don't have to be part of the action if we dont want to be.

My sister took her HM in Arbua for 2 full weeks. She stayed during the first two weeks of October. THere was no rain... It is a desert/beach if I recall. She stayed at the all inclusive Divi Beach Resort. She said it was great and they did a lot of neat things for the HMer's that were there.
We went the first week in October and stayed at the Radisson. It didn't rain.

I was in Aruba in November for 8 days. We had two days that it rained but it was for like 10 minutes and then the sun came back out shining bright. The second time that happened, we just stayed in the pool until it passed. It was very hot there in November, bring lots of sunblock, the sun is brutal.

Is the Bucuti all-inclusive?
ETA: I just looked at their website and it's not all-inclusive. Is the Rennaissance all-inclusive?

No Bucuti is not all -inclusive...most hotels in Aruba are not...but you can add the dine-around plans to your package if you wanted to...but we aren't doing that since there are SO many great restaurants to go to...
I know the Wydham offers all-inclusive

I was in Aruba in November for my honeymoon and it rained 4 out of the 6 days we were there. Really bad rain and there was a lot of flooding.
