Definitely the Hyatt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have a great HM package (through Liberty Travel) and the service and people are out of this world.

Re: aruba question
DH and I stayed at the Marriott on our HM...and even though I would recommend staying there...if we ever went back, we'd stay at the Hyatt.
We spent so much time at the Hyatt...their pool was AWESOME...the grounds sooooo tropical...they have an awesome restaurant...the Ruinas Del Mar...and it was just like being in paradise.
The Marriott did have great balconies...but, who spends time in their rooms???
At the Marriott...be sure to check out 2 of their restaurants, Simply Fish (on the beach) and Tuscany (really good Italian).
I really don't have much to say about the Radisson even though we visited there one night...we ate at the Sunset Grille there...which I thought was ok...and they had very nice lush tropical grounds.

Re: aruba question
We stayed at the Radisson and were very happy with them....BUT we went to visit the Hyat and fell in love with the grounds and feel of the place. I would stay there on out next trip! However....to save a little (if that is a concern) the Radisson was really beautiful as well.

Re: aruba question
Are any of those hotels all inclusive or would you not recommend that meal plan?

Re: aruba question
For us, all inclusive is not worth it because there were so many wonderful restaurants on the island that we did not want to be restricted to the hotel.

I went back and forth on the all-inclusive thing in Aruba but after shelling out money left and right for a year and a half with all this wedding planning... I didnt want to think about money. Plus I figure if we love Aruba so much, we can always go back!

I have friends that go back frequently. They just went for their 5 year anniversary.

Re: aruba question
I recommend the Bucuti Beach Resort. Go to their website, bucuti.com. This is a small resort that caters to honeymooners, there are no kids around! I love it better than the Marriott. The Mariott is a very nice hotel too - really nice pool and rooms but it is on the far end of the beach. What is nice about that is the beach is not crowded with other hotel guests.
I wouldn't do all inclusive because Aruba has great restaurants. there is a website called arubarestaurants.com

Re: aruba question
we stayed at the wyndham, it was awesome! we did the all-inclusive package, but we got 2 'dine outs' so we were able to go out to dinner 2x included. we ended up going out 3x, but hardly spent any money the rest of the trip so we thought it iwas worth it.

Re: aruba question
We're thinking about the Hyatt or the Wyndham, but we are so used to all inclusive. Also the no kids thing really appeals to us.

Re: aruba question
We chose the Radisson over the Hyatt only because the Radisson has a full balcony and they Hyatt has a standing balcony. We tend to eat breakfast and have wine at night on our balcony when we travel - so we thought that was important. Both seem beautiful though!
