Aruba Vacation Hotel Recommendation

My friend was thinking about going to Aruba for her first anniversary. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel that won't break the bank? Thanks!

we stayed at the bucuti beach resort for our HM. it's not all inclusive and it's a little bit off the main strip so it's quiet and romantic! we were looking for serenity more than anything else so we chose the hotel because it seemed like it wouldn't be really busy. it all depends on what your friend is looking for. i highly recommend bucuti though...we had a great time there! here's a pic or two :)

The Renaissance is amazing and cheaper than a lot of other hotels I've seen.

I second Bucuti Beach as well. We are going there for our honeymoon in a week in a 1/2 . Even though we haven't been there Ive heard nothing but great things, and on in one of the bridal magazines it was rated one of the most romantic resorts. The staff has been super pleasant so far to work with. Even though it isn't all inclusive, aruba has great restaurants so its sort of worth it to go out and eat.

we stayed at the Radisson. It has the best beach front and the rooms were great! We didn't want all inclusive since there are some great restaurants. Our favs were Papiamiento, Madame Jeannettes, and El Gaucho. Texas de Brazil and Sunset Grill were good, but not great.

We stayed at the Renaissance suites for the destination wedding we went to. Just be careful because there are two. One is considered the hotel and the other is the suites. We got to see both and the suites have a more romantic and vacation like appeal, plus the better pool with a swim up bar. The location is great because there is a boat that takes you to a private beach and a shuttles that takes you btwn the two hotels, although they are walking distance from each other. The Renaissance hotel has the shopping and restaurants which is great and you can walk around and explore the area. So you get the best of both world but btwn both hotels. I was soooo sad to leave, it was great!!!
