As a BM, what do you think a reasonable price is....
to pay for your hair on the wedding day? There are 2 girls coming to the house to do everyone's hair. Obviously this is/was causing drama.. I was thinking in convenience terms, that the BM's can come over in their sweats, relax, eat & drink and not worry about rushing around all over the place.
I have also explained that I am taking care of the tip.....

as a bm my hair is always a min of $ 75 with out tip (most basic, a blow out) to $125 updo with tip, so if the person will be there & it's more convenient time wise, I'd be in.

Is the $125 is only for hair, or for make-up as well?
I'm paying $175 for Bride's hair & make-up at a salon...for BM hair it would be a bit less.
If a BM is really resistant about paying the $125 for hair at your house, then I think you should let her go wherever she wants...it might actually be more convenient for her to go somewhere else, as well as less expensive.

I have been a BM 8 times and a MOH once.. I think that $125 is kinda high for ONLY hair.. I would say the average I've paid for hair is about $60-$75.. makeup is usually $50-$75 also.
*edited to say... there are tons of things that I have had to pay for while being part of a bridal party that I thought ******/wasn't worth it or whatever.. but I always did without question.. so if it's a little more $ I think the girls should still suck it up and do it.. if it makes you happy.

$125 seems a bit high to get hair done. I'd rather pay less and go to my regular salon.

Yea,I think its reasonable too. It's just for hair. Asking them to pay for makeup separate is def out of the question. I dont mind if they go somewhere else.. but honestly, I was thinking it would be nice for my BM's to come over and hang out, and I think it would be easier for them anyway.. But who knows...
I know being in a bridal party can be expensive, but that is all part of it. I think they forget that sometimes. I have not asked them to get shoes dyed, the matching shawl for the dress, or a clutch/purse. So, I really didnt think $125 was a big deal, but apparently it is..
oh well.. I just hope they dont show up with 90's prom hair styles... then I am gonna be ticked.
