I'm having a super hard time narrowing down my wedding day. I definetely can't afford a saturday so..I want to know as a guest which day/time you would prefer to have a wedding.

I would say Friday night, only because I have a job where I work 1 weekend day. I decided to do a Sunday night but I did the day b4 a holiday (memorial day) so it's like a Saturday night wedding (which I couldn't afford either) for a Sunday price!

I'd say a Saturday day or sunday. Friday nights are good so you can crash on Sat. But there is so much rushing after work and there is usually a lot of traffic.

honesty its up to you. i said Friday night but then again i also like sunday weddings, not a fan of saturday day weddings only because i'm drunk in the afternoon and thats never fun! But at the end of the day, its up to you because not every guest will be happy with all the days and you are the one spending the money so whatever makes you happy :) And what makes you happy SHOULD make everyone happy! I'm getting married on holiday so everyone SHOULD hate me but so far so good, no complaints!

Personally out of those choices I would say Friday. A good option for a Friday night is to start the wedding as late as possible. Maybe do cocktail hour at like 7:30. I have a Friday night wedding coming up and cocktail hr is at 7... I will only have to leave work 1 hour early and have a little bit of a less rush.. so this is great! Sunday night would be my next choice if it was early-ish like 5:30 cocktail hour.

Friday.... but whatever you want-- i have taken off of work PLENTY of times for ppls weddings on sundays and mine is the thurs before Veterans day and I realize not everyones a teacher and cant take off but i figured im only doing this once so its my decision!!!!!!!

I'd prefer a Friday Night or Saturday. I wouldn't mind the Sunday wedding but the only drawback is going to work the next day.

I chose a Sunday night because we wanted a very formal wedding and we detest friday weddings. we can't stand the inconvenience this would cause people to leave work early to come to the wedding and no one would make it to the church. In a perfect world, we would have had a saturday night wedding - but we didn't have the amount of people needed for the minimum. So, in regards to your poll, i would say Saturday/Sunday Day

As a GUEST I prefer the day weddings because you don't have to take off from work, but it is much less of a party atmosphere, so I do think I enjoy evening weddings more,
My wedding is a Sunday night, but it's a very significant date for us, so people will just have to deal

I actually don't love Friday night weddings. I had to rush out of work and didn't have time to get hair done, etc. Only been to one Friday wedding and it just didn't feel right, but that's me.

I don't really like Friday night weddings because you are pretty much forced to take the day off OR you have to miss the ceremony an rush around. As the bridge and groom, you have to know that on Friday night a lot of people will miss the ceremony. I recently went to a wedding in Philly on a Sunday afternoon and it was really convenient because we drove down in the morning and we were home by 8pm. We didn't really drink or party a lot, so I can't say it was the most fun wedding we ever went to, but we didn't need to take time off or stay in a hotel

I like Saturday day a) bc its my wedding time and b) it gives out of towners time to come in and settle down without necessarily having to take Friday off work
