it's funny how much you need that sometimes. for someone to say you are beautiful. for what you have and who you are be appealing to someone.

I really needed it.

especially since it was in the non-lecherous way.

I remember my best friend and I having this epiphany when we were younger... how people can totally ruin or make your day based on a comment or compliment, esp. about your looks but how in reality you look/are the same. We were such wise children
but seriously, it woke me up to the fact that only I am in control of how I feel about myself and was the beginning of my new confidence regardless of outfit/looks attitude..

walkin around this am and my skirt is flyin all over so im tryin to walk and smooth it down

some dude goes, 'no, its okay, let it up'
