As if I don't have enough stress in my life!!!!

My FI broke his ankle last Saturday and has to have surgery. He broke it in 3 places. His doctor said that he will be in a cast for about 6-8 weeks and then he may need physical therapy. I'm freaking out!!!! We don't want to postpone the wedding because we have alot of people coming from OOT. He hasn't picked his tux out yet, we have no limos, we haven't picked our rings out yet, etc... I want to cry.

Wont that be enough time before August? I remember the same thing happened to a bride a month or so ago -- hopefull, the cast will be off by then. Or then maybe he can dance like they did on Saved by the Bell. Do you remember 'The Sprain'?

I know you are probably stressing out right now, but I am sure it will all work out for the best. 6-8 weeks seems like enough time for your FH to heal. I guess in the mean time, maybe some of your family or friends can help you get some wedding things done while he rests?

I am so sorry this has happened.

Try not to worry about it. He should be out of a cast by early July. If he does need physical therapy, he'll have a few more weeks before the wedding. If he needs help walking maybe you can get a really nice cane and decorate it to give him support.

As for the other stuff, I would get on the ball, especially with the limos. If you are diligent you can get it done.

Things will work out, I'm sure you guys have a tight netwrok that will help out while your FH recovers. As we know, the internet is a great resource so you can narrow down your choices for rings and tuxes that way and you'll have enough time to get everything - (we got our rings in 3 weeks-custom )

Thanks guys! His doctor said that my FI should heal pretty quickly because he is athletic and I am praying that is true!!!
