This is Ryan's first bout with a stomach bug...how do you make sure he stays hydrated when he is not overly thrilled about eating or even taking his bottle?
I don't want to force him to eat or drink the formula (because I know how I feel about eating right now) but if he's not taking as much formula as usual, should I be trying to give him Pedialyte or something?

The doctor told us no milk, just Pedialyte while he's still vomiting. After he was not, I cut the Pedialyte for a day with water. I think too much Pedialyte is no good too. Bland foods too. I forget, is he on table food yet? I gave Luke banana w/ Farina for breakfast and pasta with a little butter for dinner when he was holding down food.

If he refuses the pedialyte - try giving it to him a teaspoon at a time every 15 minutes. and put a little water in it to water down the taste. It's hard - trust me I know - but you don't want a kid to dehydrate. I don't know how old he is but if he is on table food - stick to the 'BRAT' diet - banana's, rice, applesauce & toast for a week to ease the stomach pain., very bland foods
