As Promised, Pics of the Sample Invite that I made...

Now You have to use you Imagination!!!!

The color of the cardstock on the invite and the vellum are the correct colors- like a cream.

The orange cardstock on the flaps are also the correct color. The large one on the left flap is the response postcard. The small one on the top right will be the hotel information. The middle size on on the bottom right will be directions, front and back.

the ribbon in the sample is not the color I will be using. the ribbon is going to be an orange color.

Starting to picture it?

The horseshoe charm will hang like it is in the sample with a bow but (of course) the wording will be pushed down and begin where the horseshoe ends.

The ribbon that hangs from the bow will remain long but not as long as in the sample.

The 3 orange inserts on the flaps will be held with the ribbon but no bows or ribbon hanging. I am going to sew the ribbon in the back and then glue the ribbon to the card. Each card will be able to slide out.

Can you really picture it?

remember its only a sample and a rough one at that!

What do you think?

looks beautiful

just a tip...there are smaller hole punches that you can use so that you will not see the holes on the front of the invitiation.

I like the design, but won't be hard to put the cards back after they take them out? I don't like the orange with the cream and pink ribbon, but if you do then that's what matters. Definetely get the smaller hole punch. I also wouldn't make the ribbon so long. JMO.

Thanks Lisa! I forgot to add that! I have a very tiny one that will be too small and my BM whose house we were at only had the regular size one- so I will go buy the one in the middle for when we start.

It wont be hard to put the cards back in -they will slide in and out easily. Also, I'm not using the pink ribbon- I will be using orange ribbon (imagination, remember ). I cream and the orange look nice together in person. And the ribbon will not be that long just a little long...

And I will definitly post the finished product. They should all be done within the month but as soon as I have 1 that is perfect- i will post!
