So, FH and I were going to ask one girl to be our FG, but I don't know her well and only met her 2x. Well, I thought about it and a good friend/co-worker has a daughter, whose 1st b-day was yesterday (Yeah! ) and I talked to FH about asking her...
So today, I asked her mom (my friend) and she said 'YES!' She was so excited and gave me a big hug!!!
I am SO excited!!!! Yeah!!!

Sounds like it will be CUTE!
One of my FG's will be almost 3. The other will be one and a half. The each have older brothers who will be walking with(though probably DRAGGING) them down the aisle. If they go, they go. If they don't, they don't. I know plenty of 5 and 6 year olds who have freaked out and refused to walk. The older they are, the more fear they have had a chance to develop. Thats why we are told to teach our children to swim as young as possible - less fear. JMO.

I have heard of and seen FGs younger...they were pushed in carriages or pulled in wagons.
My FG is walking now (quite well I may add), and I know her mom will start 'FG Training' months before the wedding. For her 2st b-day, her mom & dad started singing Happy Birthday to her 3 mos before her b-day, so when her b-day came around she was so excited whenever she heard them sing Happy Birthday!

Too cute!! My Flower girls will also be in the 2 yrs old range and I think they will be fine. It really depends on the child....
