Asked my FG and RB (and mom) on Saturday

FG is currently 4 and RB is currently 7. They are both adorably precocious. We told their mom that we wanted them to do this for our wedding and she said that would be wonderful. She called them in one at a time and explained what a wedding is and what they were going to do and asked them what they thought. FG kind of nodded, didn't seem to quite get it at first. RB said, well when is it--very seriously--as if he was gonna pull out his palm pilot or something...it was very funny (He's the type of kid that will lye with a straight face, etc....cute, but not great for his future!) Later in the evening, FG was like all over me, attached to my lap while all the adults played Taboo. When it all finally clicked for her, she said, 'so when do I get my dress?' Also...very very cute...Then, all night, we would go back and forth:
Me: Who's gonna be my FG?
Her: MEEE!!!
Her: Who's gonna be your FG?
Me: Hmmm, uhm uhm, YOU!!!
Lots of giggles and laughter...I think we picked the right kids!

Thanks...it actually doesn't sound quite as cute when I read it as it was when it happened...one of those 'you hadda be there' things, but you get the point!

I played with my FG for a while before dinner and got her to the point where she was asking to sit next to me, etc. It helped that there were no other little kids that she'd rather be playing with. Then, after dinner I asked the mom.
