Asking a question for a non-board bride

Hey ladies,

My friend just got engaged!! And she is wondering what reception halls on Long Island are reasonably priced? Like UNDER $100 a plate TOTAL? Maybe even closer to $70 a plate?

Any suggestions? FM me if you don't want to advertise what you are paying...

TIA!

While it's not common... you will find under $100 a plate. And yes... there a hand picked few $70ish too!

I'd have to give our venue props!!! Start at the Riverview in Oakdale. It's a beautiful restaurant on the water that she'll have all to herself on a Saturday afternoon (don't knock a day wedding until you plan one... after parties, sunsets, early morning honeymoon departure!!!). It is run by the Lessings who have awesome food and staff at all of their places. Check them out!

LESSINGS WEBSITE

The best thing ever about the Riverview (some others do it too and I highly recommend finding one that does) is they have included centerpieces and cake (and it's not reflected in their price at all). Sooooooooo much weight and hassle off your back!!!!

Good luck to your friend!!!

I know someone who is getting married at Jericho Terrace in February of 2007 and is paying $80pp. I do not know what it includes but she should take a look.

What time of year is she thinking about getting married? There are huge discounts in the winter months
