I am thinking of nixing the table camera idea and instead printing something up w/ our email address asking the guests to send us their photos. I know I have seen girls on here that have done this, but can't find a cute way of writing this when I do a search. Does anyone have a cute phrase I can type up asking the guests to email me their digital photos?
I was thinking of doing the discs, but then I thought to keep the cost down I might create little cards (like business card size) that asks guests to email digital shots to our email address. I figure we can have someone pass them out at the end.

The discs are a great idea, but could be expensive.
I actually ordered the free postcards from vistaprint.com For $10 (because I uploaded my own image), I got 100 glossy postcards. I put a little saying on them....
'Did you catch something we didn't? Pease email your digital photos to the bride and groom: >>>>>>>
My aunt had a good point because she was just at a wedding. Not many people will bring a camera to a wedding, because it can be bulky and honestly, if they're not immediate family, do they really care to capture it? I don't know, I always bring a camera, but that's just me.

I was thinking the same thing. I am probably going to add a line or two at the bottom of the programs. This way I am not spending anymore money and those that did take digital photos can email them to me.
Yep I was just about to post those pics for you that I saved from that post. Its a good idea!

me too. I got CD envelopes off of amazon.com for cheap! my only concern is...I guess not everyone has a CD burner so, we might not get as many as I would have hoped. However, when they bring them to get developed they could purchase a cd for like $2 and send it back. Doubt it will happen, but it would be nice!

I thought the cd was a great and unique idea but I never thought about the fact that not everyone has a burner, good point!! I think the small cards will work, it's something people can just slip into there pockets or wallets and it's not costly. Thanks for another great idea FH will be thrilled, lol.

i don't think u need a burner to save pics to a cd. i'm pretty sure the burner is only necessary for music. pics are like regular files except a lot bigger.

As far as I remember, she had said that the kit came with the stickers for the CDs and the sleeves that you pu them in. She printed the wording for the CD stickers on her computer. She bought a stack of CDs at CVS which was really inexpensive and applied the printed CD stickers to them. Hope that helps! I'll try and find out exactly what store she got the kit at.

You are right! No CD burner is necessary. When people download their pics from their cameras to their computers, they would just save the pics to the CD that you've provided them. Very easy!! No worries girls!
