asking Junior bridesmaid

Ok well we told FH's cousin that we are going to ask her daughter to be a junior bridesmaid. I said we will come over soon to personally ask her, so the mother said that she wont say anything and let us surprise her...Were gonna try to go this weekend to do this.

Now how should i do it. I wanna get a card but I also want to get her a little something or do a little gift basket, or gift tote bag...any ideas. She is 11-12 years.

I'm so lost with kids these days...I know when I was 11-12 I still liked playing dolls but girls these days are wearing makeup and miniskirts. What is she into? It'll help out when coming up with ideas.

You can find a plain bag and have it embroidered at that kiosk in the Smithaven Mall. Things remembered has totes I believe and they, of course, personalize things, but that will probably be more expensive.

see that is why im confused because at 12 years old i was into make up and all that. I am gonna try and find wedding related things i think...I would love to get a junior bridesmaid tshirt which might be harder to do or at least a bridesmaid shirt...Or how about those crystal and semi-precious stone bracelets? That sounds like a good idea, guess stuff like that?

WE asked my 2 cousins who are 10 and 11 to be jr. bm's. I mailed the 'Will you be my Jr. bridesmaid card?' that I had gotten on-line and addrressed it to them. They had no idea, and freaked out when they saw thay had mail and when they read the card. The next day we went there w/ t-shirts that said JR. Bridesmaid. and took them out to lunch. They loved it and talk about the wedding more than I do.
