asking MOH poem
im making a scrapbook to ask my sister to be my MOH...on one of the last pages, I wanted to include a poem I found. i asked FH what he thought and he said its typical and cheesy...i mean i knew it was kinda cheesy/sappy but thought it was cute...maybe i'm wrong.
here's the poem - let me know what you think!
if you don't like it, should i scrap the idea entirely and just write a personal letter (im not a good writer tho lol) or just make it shorter to lessen the cheese-factor

Childhood memories,
some big and some small
Laughter and tears,
We’ve been through it all.
You’re my shoulder to lean on
And my confidant
As my sister and friend,
You’re all I could want.
You’re the one who I can turn to,
any hour of the day.
Seems I only have to think of you
and you’ll be on your way.
No matter where life takes me,
no matter where I roam,
When I’m with you, my sister
my heart feels right at home.
So on my wedding day,
I will need you more than ever
Please say you’ll be my Maid of Honor now…
And my friend forever.
