asking your bridal party

asking your bridal party

I am planning on asking my friends to be in the bridal party at my e-party. I have the cards and something else to give to the girls but I don't know what me and FH should do for the groomsmen. Any ideas on how to ask the groomsmen in a special way? TIA

1st thing that popped into my head was asking the question on a piece of paper wrapped around a cigar... FH & his friends are big into cigars now so its a good way to ask and then they can celebrate by smoking them after

i actually thought about that but the websites i found that did this need a min order of 100...do you know where i could get this?

hmmm, I've already told all my BP that they are in the wedding. Do you think I should do something official to ask them???

i have been asked to be in 3 bridal parties...
one friend asked me over dinner,
another gave her bridal party a 'will you be my bridesmaid card' at her e-party along w/ a corsage for us
and i think my brother and fsil asked me over the phone

each way was different but they were all special...i was just touched to be asked to be a part of their special day so i don't think you have to do anything 'official'

I gave the groomsmen cards too! They loved them but I didn't make them very mushy...also they sell cookies that are decorated like a tuxedo and it say will you be my GM or BM...I gave them to the girls too except they were dresses.

Also Lolita glasses has beer mugs that are so different and original...I get my wine glasses and martini glasses for gifts off of there...check them out their beer glasses for the guys are so nice and they are $25 if that.

I am not doing anything special, my girls and guys aren't the type to be like, well you didnt ask us with a card or gift. I think it is just more money that I cant afford. We are asking them once we have finalized the Bridal Party. I will have a get together though so everyone can exchange numbers and whatever info they need.
