Keep in mind my wedding is July 29th

Ok so FH'S COUSIN who is a GM iN our wedding has been engaged for 3 years with no date picked.. ANYWAY our invitations went out this week and we get a phone call ytday from fh's lovely cousin that went like this.

FH'S COUSIN -HIIIIIII WE PICKED A DATE
FH- REALLY FINALLYYYYY CONGRATS - ITS ABOUT TIME WHEN IS IT???
FH'S COUSIN - July 23rd and you guys better be there.


reallyyyyyyyyyyy ?????????????????????????dont you think we are going to be busy that weekend I know thats not the only weekend in the year that you could pick and are'nt you going on a honeymoon???? why exactly would you do that??Please someone give me some logical excuses because as far as im concerned these 2 are just A$$HOLESSSSSSSS Am I wrong????


i am almost tempted to tell him it wont work out with both of us having weddings 6 days apart so let call it even and not attend eachothers weddings

no were not down one but I dont understand how he plans on doing both?? I just dont think its possible so I wish he would just drop out I rather be down 1 now than closer to the wedding

I would not attend their wedding. There is NO way when you are getting married the following weekend Why the hell would they do that?!!! insane!!!

The good part is that people already received YOUR invitations and hopefully they are already commited to yours

seriously, what is wrong with people?! We had two separate people in our bridal party get engaged after us, and at one point they were both saying they were thinking of getting married the week before us. And for the life of them, neither of them could understand why FH and I were upset by this! I mean, if it was a month or two before, that's one thing, but the week before?!

Luckily, they both ended up picking later dates.

That is so rude!!!!! What are they trying to steal your thunder by getting married a week before you?? I'd be sooooooo pizzed. FH's cousin is getting married Oct 23 and even though we originally wanted an October wedding, I believe its a first come first serve kind of deal...you don't pick a date before someone who booked it before you...its common courtesy. We chose a date a month later since a lot of the family attending is the same.

OMG, I don't even know what to say....I am sure that I would have blacked out on that phone!!!!
