Does anyone else feel like theyre at a lull in their planning? I did so many of the bigger things already. I do NEED to get my butt in gear about BM dresses and a florist, but its still no rush. I feel like im not on LIW as much bc I have nothing wedding related in my life right now and Im so busy moving into our new home
Anyone feel the same?

Re: At a lull
It's ok to take a break/be in a lull. If you've got the big things taken care of then just enjoy the time to relax a lil. You still have plenty of time until things get hectic, so just take pleasure in not wedding related things for awhile.

Re: At a lull
Yes, and I am very much enjoying it. Thethings I am doing I am doing reluctantly, like invitations and BM dresses. I just want to do it to get it done with. Honestly, I don't get the thrill out of planning that some people do.

Re: At a lull
I took a break for about a month - I just had other things going on and I did so much in the first few months - it helped to refresh me and I naturally got back into it. Don't worry - you still have lots of time :)

Re: At a lull
I thought I was at a lull, then I decided to make a to-do list for each month leading up to the wedding. That did the trick. I can say I'm not in a lull and my anxiety has shot right back up. But now that I have a list of what needs to be done, I can figure out what things can be done earlier and start to work on them now.

Re: At a lull
me too, but it feels good to know everything is done!
my invitations are next on the list and I still have a whole year.
My make up and hair trial are next week. After that I'll be almost completely set. I'm glad I did everything early. I got first pick at the most awesome vendors. I love all my vendors....

i'm definitely in your shoes, but have less time than you! I'm working on BM dresses and florist now too..in addition to HM and limos (which FI is supposed to be working on) but i think as long as our we are putting in some time into it and doing a little research its okay to take a few breaks!

I sure can! It's pretty long, so bear w/ me. I tried to put as many little details in there as possible. Keep in mind that I'm getting married 5/28/2006 and I have already booked my vendors (reception hall, officiant, limos, florist, photog and video, HM, makeup, DOC, hair, dress, DJ).
August-September: send out STD's (done) book hotel for night before and night of (done) hair trial (scheduled for 10/3) make up trial (done) get BM's to order their dresses (4 of 8 done) register for gifts (done)
October-November: figure out invitation wording begin to look for wedding rings apply for passports get e-pics done order invitations

Re: At a lull
Yup, we were kinda at a lull the last month or so after we finished our STD's so we were talking today and decided to get started on our programs. We just got back from michael's and we're going to experiment!
