My teeth are pretty white, but could use a little brightening up. I want to use an at home whitening system like the crest strips or anything else that I can do at home. Which ones are the best? How early should I do them? Should I do it now and then again when it gets closer? Thanks ladies!

I use Crest white strips and they work pretty well. I would do them a week prior, and try not to eat or drink anything staining.

Crest whitestrips work awesome. You can just get the regular ones, the more expensive premium ones just take a week, not two.
I'd do it to finish a few days before the wedding and make sure not to drink red wine or coffee during! THe whitening makes your teeth more porous while you are doing it!

My teeth are pretty white but I bought a kit from Sephora....I haven't used it yet but my mom did and it worked well.
My coworker used this toothpaste that comes in a silver box, for 4.99. at Duane Reade. It worked wonders! She was a smoker and drinks coffee daily. It really worked and she has sensitive teeth.

If you could find out the name for me that would be great! I just got the white strips, the pre-rinse from listerine and the vivid white night toothpaste. Wow I'm making it sound like my teeth are really yellow, they are not, but I do drink a lot of tea and coffee (which I havent in a while because I gave it up for lent) I just am afraid my teeth will look so dull because of my dress. I figure if I start now they should be good by the wedding day. I read on the white strips that they can be used more than once a year so I will use them now, and than again two weeks before the wedding. This is my plan!

I've used the Rembrandt 2 hour whiting kit and it works wonders!!!!!! I usually cant whiten too often b/c my teeth are too sensitive! But this kit didn't hurt my teeth at all! It worked sooooooo well! And it was quick!!!

Re: At home teeth whitening
My good friend is in dental school and I asked her about teeth whitening and she told me that the best thing to do is mix some baking soda and hydrogen peroxide together to make a gel and rub it across your teeth with your finger twice a day. She said that those are the main ingredients in all of the 'fancy' products anyway. I may try that and/or use the rembrandt 2 hour.

I just read some reviews for Rembrandt. Some people complained that it caused their lips and gums to bleed and blister.
