AT home versus AT the salon

Hi Ladies,

What are your thoughts on having hair & make up done at home or in the salon. I live on Staten Island and I am finding it very expensive to have a hair stylist and make up artist come to my home. I can understand having it done at home is much easier, but if the salon is right next to my house - is it really a big difference?

Really torn over this one...would really appreciate your input!

Going is fine

We just aren't because we have an early wedding!

Going is fine!!! Just get your hair done first, and maybe be the last to get your makeup done.

We're going. I don't see the big deal.

The only good thing is I guess some people can get the photographer to take some shot while the makeup is being finsihed, etc, but that depends on your timeline

We're having the hair stylists and makeup artists come to us, but only because they live in the same town and aren't charging extra for it. If the salon is close to home for you, I don't see any difference with going there. Everything will go just as good!
