At least I have answers!

I am back from the RE and I FINALLY have an HSG scheduled for THIS Thursday! WOO HOOO! I cant believe that they can get me in so quick!

I also got diagnosed with PCOS and Ovulatory Dysfunction.
We will start clomid next month and try it for 2-3 months if that does not work we will go to injectables.
It feels incredible to make a step in a progressive direction!

I am so happy for you Deb... not to hear about your diagnosis of course , but I am happy that at least you must finally feel like you are on the right road and that you have some definite answers.. and you can take the necessary steps and be on your way to having what you want

What is an HSG?

I think a HSG is when they inject something into your tubes to 'clean' them out and make sure nothing is blocking in them...

That's wonderful news!

(I know it sounds weird to say that to someone dealing with fertility issues, but I know myself, the day I walked out of my first RE appt, I felt like a 1000 pound burden had been lifted from my shoulders. It is a wonderful feeling knowing you can be PROACTIVE and do everything you can to increase your chances)

Best of luck with your HSG. I had it a couple weeks ago, and while it wasn't fun or anything, it wasn't a fraction as bad as I expected.

Deb, I'm so glad you were able to get in to the doctor and wow that is fast for the testing!!!
I'm sure you are so relieved to know what's 'going on' with you! I'm sure Clomid will help you and I hope you get PG really soon!!!!
I was thinking about asking my dr to put me on Clomid too.

That is great that you have some answers! Are you doing Clomid and Insemination or Clomid and BD on your own?

That's one of those situations where getting bad news is better than getting no news because at least you have a course of action now!!

IM SO Happy for you! My friend was recently diagnosed with something fairly similiar. The dr's had high hopes with some 'help' she could concieve and fairly easily once diagnosed!

I hope very very soon, we see your It's POSITIVE POST!
