At what point are you/did you do the parent dances?

At what point are you/did you do the parent dances?

Are you having this happen after dinner, early in the evening...?? I can't decide.

Tell me what you are doing, and why. Thank You!!

Right after our first dance...get the dances over with! It's traditionally done (in the Spanish culture) to do the dances at the beginning. We also plan on doing the cake cutting around 11pm - the reception ends at 1am.

We will do them before the entree is served. Why -- so it doesn't take up too much time at another point in the reception.

whenever the DJ tells us to lol.. we're simple.

i think its right after our first dance though but i'm not sure on that cause i know thats what they did at my sisters wedding (same dj)

My friend got married last weekend & she did it right before the cake, which I thought was nice.

I think we're gonna do them right after our first dance. We haven't really talked about it yet but that's what I'd like to do. Honor the parents and then get the show on the road!
