my dress has a Cathedral length detachable train and I plan on wearing a finger tip length veil. At what point after the ceremony do I take these things off??

Usually after your first dance, if that's what you choose.

I am taking mine off during the cocktail hour. I don't think I can take dancing with a cathedral train!

YOu can decide that day! My SIL kept her cathedral length train for the first dance and bustled it up afterward. She kept her fingertip length veil on all night!
I bustled up before the first dance, but kept the veil on until afterward. (I had planned on keeping it on all night, but it was starting to get in my way.

I took mine off after pictures, before the cocktail hour. It is the best when it is detachable. When you take it off you are going to love it!

I'll be wearing everything til after our dance.... Once that passes - let the madness begin!
I'll be bustled, w/o cathedral veil, wearing only fingertip & tiara!

I have a cathedral veil and long train, I plan on taking off veil and bustling train after our first dance. I think anything goes and it's up to you when you want to take it off.

I bustled after the cocktail hour and before our grand entrance/first dance. I kept my fingertip veil on all night! Only get to be a bride once!!

I took it off before I got to the reception.
I didnt feel like any less of a bride without it - and I had an easier time of dancing, hugging, eating, etc.. with it off.
