at work and sick

at work and sick

So even though I much rather be curled up in my bed (and probably should be as I'm not feeling well) I got up and came in to work for 6 hours of overtime.

Might not have been the smartest idea but I'm sure when I'll be glad I did it when my check shows up.

BTW yesterday was a VERY busy wedding related day. My mom bought her dress for my sisters wedding, my sister had her hair and makeup trial with Elena and then we went looking for flower girl dresses with my cousin and her daughter (the flower girl) and they picked out that and bought it too!! My sister is almost done with everything, just invites, favors and our BM dresses left - which will hopefully be ordered tomorrow!

You know what that means?

I'M NEXT!!!!!

feel better!!! i know how you feel about getting up early on a saturday, definately not fun! i am off this sat. but the next 4 saturdays in a row i will be working an extra job to save for the wedding. it will be worth it for the $$. That is SO cool that you and your sis are getting married around the same time! That must be so exciting to be able to plan everything together! I would love that!

Yea I have admit it is pretty cool (though really and I think through the process of both of us planning and being each other's MOH's we're getting closer than we ever were.

My mom isn't too happy about it though as might be expected. She blames it on the money factor (we're both paying for almost our entire weddings ourself) but I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the fact that within 6 months of each other neither of us will be living at home anymore.

aw, yeah i could imagine that being tough for your mom! very emotional. i have 2 other sisters, but our weddings are going to be so far apart, my younger sis is only 16, and the older one (27) still needs the man! maybe theirs will be close together! who knows.
