atari

Does anyone know how to hook up an Atari 7800? I bought one with a bunch of games for $100 on Ebay, and got it today. I want to test it to make sure it works, and give it to hubby on xmas.

Anyone know how to hook it up? I have something from radio shack that looks like it should hook it up to a modern tv...I'm so confused! The person who sold it sold it for her son, and has no idea either...

Any ideas on who I can ask?

I think it is called a RF converter. Call a Radio Shack.

My mom just sold ours at a garage sale with Frogger, pac man, lady pac man, pog, donkey kong and about 6 other games for 30.

Yup, I'll call radio shack, I was just hoping someone knew. Their customer service isn't always the best.

Whoever got your 7800 for $30 got a decent deal. It's worth more than the original Atari b/c it plays games for both.

I did get 35 games with it, and all of the games have their original instruction manuals, as does the atari (unfortunately the instructions don't include the radio shack converter!). Plus, it's in the box, which is always good for storing and makes it worth more.

My hubby isn't a video game guy, but he loves the ones he used to play when he was a kid-so this is a fun gift.

$30.00 I still have mine in my closet!
