I will be watching also , mainly because I cannot wait to see the opening ceremonies in my favorite country in the world (next to the US) -- beautiful Greece

yay! i love opening ceremonies b/c you get to learn about the history of the country and what's important in their culture. and it's also fun to see the uniforms of the different teams. i am just hoping and praying that the crowd reaction to the us team is polite. i hope no one takes out their frustration at us political policies on these athletes who have nothing to do with it....

I'm excited to see it too... I have no plans for tonight except that! I wanted to go so bad for the opening ceremonies, but DH talked me out of it. I have family friends who are there right now....... I'm so jealous!!!

it has always been a dream of mine to be able to go and see the olympics, maybe in 2012 in New York? (although I hate to think about what it would do to our every day life )
