Has anyone been or is currenly on this diet or some sort of low carb diet. My dad is on it. After he saw the wedding proofs he got all upset that he looked way to big. He looks fine to me. He probably only needed to lose 5-10 pounds. He probably has lost about 20lbs over the last 3 months.
My question is does anyone have any recipes for desserts that still can be eaten on this diet. I want to make him something for this weekend when we go over for dinner. Does anyone have any recipes or web sites that I can go to? Thanks for your help.

Atkins is no sugar and no carbs. So desserts are pretty difficult. I say, make some good old sugar free jello!
Also ask the girls on SlimDown, there are a few girls who are low-carb and might have a recipe for ya!

Sugar Free jello is th eonly 'treat' my dad eats. I'll check out the website.
I have made philly's 3 step cheesecake recipe without the crust and substituting splenda for the sugar. It comes out flat as a pancake but tastes ok. I think it's really nice that you are supporting him like this and trying to find something for him to eat and enjoy
