can someone tell me what net carbs means? i was told to eat my heavier carbs in the morning. i just got back from the gym and had an atkins bar that said 3 net carbs but it had like 24 on the wrapper!
i'm all confuddled...

net carbs is the amount that is left when you subtract the fiber and sugar alcohol from the carbohydrates. If you are following a low carb diet, they tell you to calculate your carbs based on the net carbs!
