Atlantic City restaurant suggestions?

I'll be staying at the Borgata but, the restaurant doesn't have to be there.

Looking for something fun, upscale, great food and romantic...

Thanks!

Not for dinner, but definitely for lunch, the famous White House Sub place. They have an awesome philly cheesesteak and the subs are huge!

2301 Arctic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401
Phone: (609) 345-1564

ETA - It is off the main boardwalk but it is worth the trip.

I was just at the Borgata this past weekend....we ate at The Metropolitan Restaurant there, which was good. Probably the cheapest place in there. We had wanted to go to the Old Homestead, but couldn't get a reservation.

THere is a 'Cesca in Harrah's that's also really good.

ooh, I have a few more!

EVO on the boardwalk outside the Trump PLaza...fantastic food! I ate there with a few girlfriends, and with a bottle of wine and an appretizer it was about $35 each...not too shabby!

There's also Roberto's in the Trump Plaza. Good Italian food, they have a prie-fix menu and the salmon was very yummy!

If you travel a bit outside AC---into Margate.....my FH and I's FAVORITE restaurant in the world (besides Emerils) is Tomatoes....it's on the water (across the street) and has THE BEST sushi in the northeast!! It also has a great variety of dishes to choose from----duck, fish, beef, etc.... Tomatoes gets my vote BY FAR!!! Plus, it's outside of town, so you don't pay the tourist prices. It takes about 15 minutes to get there. Good luck!!
