Atlantic City Restaurants

DH and I heading down to AC this weekend - he planned it for my bday...But, I'm having a hard time deciding where to go to dinner on Sunday. We made reservations at Morton's and Cuba Libre. Anyone ever been to either, and have an opinion?

Thanks!!

I'll have to check that one out...

I REALLY want to go to Carmine's...been to that one before and love it, but with 2 people I feel like it wouldn't really be worth it. Knowing us, we would order way too much food, and finish it because it's so delicious. Then I would spend the rest of the night in a serious food coma..and smell like a giant garlic clove

yes and its huge. Its on 16th street and 9th ave. Infact his friends wanted to go next week since we said its so good and were going next weekend. We've been there before too a couple of times and always great.

I love their frog legs actually for apps, plus the shrimp, spring rolls and the edamame dumplings are amazing. The crab fried rice is awesome too, and my favorite is the charred fillet of beef, it melts in your mouth and has this amazing sauce to put over it. Now im getting hungry hahaha.

here is the site for the one in the city

oh yeah then for 2 it might be too much. Plus when we did eat there we were ready for a nap after hahaha. Then i'd check Buddakan out, for 2 ppl its perfect. Its also family style, not like italian family style at all though. As you know the asian fusion places give you VERY small portions so when its family style its actually a normal sized portion lol.

DH and i just made a bet this week about who can lose weight faster in a month. Maybe this is a good way for us to do it since we'll want to beat eachother

Oh believe me - it was much more than 8...that's just the current level I really need to start being good!!!

DH and I had a bet like that long before we even started dating...I won ...are you doing it by percentage or actual pounds? You might want to do %, since it's easier for guys to shed pounds...good luck though!!! I think I might have to start another bet with dh...but now, what's the prize???

I agree with a couple of the girls with Carmines.
But Denise- I dont think that Carmines is as good as the one on the upper west side.
Ummm there is a restaurant in Harrah's that is really good but I forget the name.
