Atlantica

I was wondering if anyone had advice on Atlantica, it looks gorgeous and I really want something on the Beach? Thanks-Also I am a 2005 bride!

Atlantica was one of the first places we checked out. We personally felt it photographs nicer than it looks in person. It is very small - awkward set up as far as placement for band or dj. The view of the ocean was the best part about it. Also, if you want a weekend wedding inthe summer - look for another place - they don't do weekend weddings in the summer.

I'm getting married there next summer - they don't do saturday weddings in july or august but those are the only restrictions as far as I know. I think it's a great place - there's nothing else right on the beach that comes close. And I've heard great things about it from people that have been to weddings there. There are a bunch of Atlantica brides on here - one is on her honeymoon (jennyg) and one is getting married there tomorrow night (blissbride) - so stay tuned for their reviews....

My band is playing at blissbride's wedding at Atlantica tomorrow night and I've also attended a bunch of weddings there. It's a great place, but the main attraction is the ocean. For me, the food was good, but no better than I've had at other weddings. Also, I don't think they can accommodate more than 200 people (if memory serves).
