atlantica brides

hello ladies

i just have a few questions to anyone whos had their wedding or been to a wedding at atlantica..

the ceremony and the cocktail hour are in the same location.. how smoothly is the transformation? do they ask the guests to leave the room or what? im concerned!

did anyone plan their wedding around a full moon.. how does the water look with the moon full???

is there a coat check?

im just looking for anything anyone has to say about atlantica.. i fell in love with it but noone i know has ever heard of it.. so maybe you guys can help me out with any randomness (good or bad) i should know. thanks!

Hello -- I got married at Atlantica last September and am happy to answer as many questions as you have. I questioned the exact same things you did. I stressed over them a bit and then after I made my decision, I never thought about it again. I promise, this is the best place on LI to get married (except for the price).

As far as changing from the ceremony to cocktail hour, that was my #1 concern. They re-assured me lots of times and I still wasn't sure I believed them. It worked out perfectly. They file your guests out to get their place card and put there things down at the table and by the time they are done, the room is set up. It literally takes 5 minutes! I was acutally shocked at how easy the transition is.
