Has anyone gone to see (or been married at) Atlantica? Does the ceremony and cocktail hour take plac in the same room? And is the reception room on the same level? From the pictures I have looked at it seems like the guest have to walk through the reception room to get to the ceremony.....not sure if i like that

Re: Atlantica Brides
I had looked there and thought the same. Plus I did not like where they set the band/dj up. The other thing that really bothered me were the drapes, which I love, looked very worn. It's a great place, a perfect location, but needs some tweaking.

Re: Atlantica Brides
The drapes are drawn when everyone walks out to the deck. The deck is where the ceremony is if you have it there, and also where the cocktail hour is. When everyone walks out they only see the dance floor (looking like a large hallway since the drapes are drawn). The tables are hidden from view. After the ceremony the reception line is inside and everyone has to walk in and then u-turn and go back out to the deck for the cocktail hour. I thought that was a little strange, but I'm not having my ceremony there. The deck/outside bar remain open during the rest of the reception also.

P.S. Here's a picture of a picture of what it looks like.
I had my ceremony & reception there. Absolutely no complaints. Someone else once mentioned the drapes being worn to I didn't notice at all.
When my ceremony was over, everyone walked back into the ballroom & found their placecards. By the time they found their cards, the deck as turned over. They are lightning fast.
