Re: Atlantis Bahamas

Don't go there. It was great, but I wouldn't go back. It's flooded with screaming children, crowded and SUPER $$$. Nothing is included and the restaurants are crazy $$$. Go for a Secrets or a Sandals or another all-inclusive. I'm have been to a million islands and done the non-all-inclusive way - I woudn't recommend it.

Re: Atlantis Bahamas

when i went to bahamas on a cruise in 07 we crashed the atlantis- its grounds are awesome and they have an outdoor aquarium;. but that would probably be cool for about 1 day. the year after i went back on another cruise and they dont let outsiders go on the grounds anymore. the hotels are so huge it took forever to walk anywhere.

Re: Atlantis Bahamas

Its a beautiful place... but I wouldn't book for the HM. It's really $$. I ordered 2 drinks and paid $30. A bottle of water was $5. so...its up to you, but its more of a stop on a cruise or a 3 day get away. IMO.

Re: Atlantis Bahamas

I was there in November for a day - did the deep water dolphin swim, which was great. The grounds are absolutely beautiful - we had an unlimited access pass for the day. It is expensive though.

Re: Atlantis Bahamas

I went there for a long weekend and it was very expensive. I didn't really experience screaming kids or anything, but it just wasn't 'romantic.'
