I saw wedding pics too -- they were gorgeous. I think the only problem with it is that it's so far out east.

Re: Atlantis Marine World
Though I've never been there for a wedding, DH and I have been to Atlantis for a few fundraisers and while the surroundings are great I didn't think the food was really anything to write home about.
If you can (or they require you) to bring in your own caterer, I would.

Re: Atlantis Marine World
My coworker got married there last year. She LOVED it. The only negative was that apparently the dance floor was far from the tables so if you were dancing you couldn't see the other guests. I wasn't there but that was the only negative thing I heard....maybe they can set it up differently? Good luck!

we looked into it, but our invite list was too big for everyone to sit comfortably and still have room to dance. Definitely go and look. THe BM has some gorgeous pictures of past weddings to look at.

We wanted to do it there, but it was $$$ and inconvenient. Do a search on here, because I found a few reviews for it.
Good luck!

Re: Atlantis Marine World
yes ive been to a wedding there last July... the cocktail hour was fabulous!! i rated it an a+ unfortunatley the reception wasnt as great. it was kinda smelly and humid inside, by the shark tank. the floors were filthy, the brides dress was sooo dirty from the floor. we ate dinner REALLY late, it took the staff FOREVER to bring out the food (i would make sure there is 1 waiter per each table)... also they shut the fish tank lights off in the middle of the wedding. u cant see the dance floor at all from most of the tables.... and bridal party and bride and groom were at a table on the upper level, so NOBODY could see them. just a few things that were bothersome 2 me... GOOD LUCK!! and CONGRATS!!!

Thanks for the notes! I have it in my contract that we wanted one waiter per table and a busperson for every 2 tables....I'll have to see about thte fish tanks and the floor though....
