atlantis marine world

Hello Everyone:

We are thinking about having our wedding at Atlantis Marine World. If anybody has gone through the process of having their wedding there and would like to fill me in on the details. That would be great!

Or if attended a wedding there. Let me know what you think.

I looked at Altantis for a winter wedding and while it was nice, I think it would be much better for a summer wedding like yours. However, the price for a winter wedding was MORE than anywhere else we looked and we were really shocked! Especially because we didn't even like the menu as much as other places. If you have your reception inside the main room, the dance floor is sort of in another adjoining area so many tables would not have a view of the dance floor. It was the first place we looked at and I was expecting much more.

i think they can get the price they do just because its a different type of venue ya know? anything thats out of the ordinary will prob be more expensive.. just my 2cents

makes sense...they will charge more the more 'different' they are from other places. Plus they probably want to keep the location exclusive to people who are willing to spend BIG bucks and not us girls on a budget

The thing was... it wasn't anything really out of the ordinary, except that it was in an aquarium. Any while that was 'different', it wasn't necessarily 'better'. I would have to say that it would be more of a plus for a summer event, but not for a winter event. I think though the menu was the most disappointing. But when Crest Hollow beats them in price by about $35/pp (for a buffet at Atlantis versus a sit down at Crest Hollow), that just seems weird!
