Did anyone read the article in Newsday this weekend? About the gov't giving money back to NY for education. They say Long Island is gonna get over $100 million. I hope this helps hire back all the excessed teachers so that maybe us non-tenured teachers actually have a shot!!
What does everyone think about this? Do you think it's actually gonna happen before September?
My friend who was recently laid off was just telling me about this! I really hope it happens for you guys!!!

Crashing sorry...I didn't read the article, that's good news...as to when they are giving it back, that is a very good question!! So sorry you got excessed...I hope you get something soon-what is your certification? I can tell you whether there is something in my district or not if you want!

I have only been subbing since Feb and I've already changed what I'm going to get my master's in because there are not many jobs.

they took away the funding this year! this article stated that we are supposed to get it back......maybe.....hopefully soon
