Are most brides attending their cocktail hour? And if so, do you still get introduced for the reception?

I attended my cocktail hour. The maitre d had us leave the cocktail hour 5 minutes early, and then we were introduced in the reception.

I didn't attend, but many brides do and they still get introduced.

We attended our cocktail party and were introduced at the beginning of the reception.

We were at our cocktail hour and we used that time to mingle with the guests so we would be able to enjoy the reception.They still introduce you.

I'm still debating over this. While we said that we would not be attending the cocktail hour, we are now having mixed feelings on the subject. I'm thinking I may and leave about 20mins before it ends, this way everyone will forget what I look like and can be introduced at the reception!
Everywhere I said 'I', really should be WE, I feel bad, sometimes I forget it's his day too!

I plan on attending so I can mingle and try to talk to as many people as possible. I think they will still introduce us. At least that is the case from the weddings I have been too...

We were originally planning on attending the cocktail hour but now are deciding against it. We want to have some time relaxing in the bridal suite before the rest of the night begins... and then have the grand entrance into the reception.

We don't want to miss a second of the cocktail hour, so we will be going to it, and then still be introduced.

I am not. I have all the food being served in my huge bridal suite & i want time alone to relax with BP & FH. Alot of ladies do nowadays though and yes you still get introduced

I am so clumsy with white that I am afraid someone will spill a drink on my dress or somethin! I will just be chillin out in my suite until the time comes for me to be introduced

Were taking pictures before the ceremony. attending our cocktail hour or atleast some of it and being introduced.

I attended my coctail hour a 1/2 into it and still got introduced. I was able to greet most of my guests during that time.
