Attempt at DIY invites...

Attempt at DIY invites...

I was playing around with Microsoft Publisher b/c I couldn't find any pocketfolds that I liked. So, this is not an actual DIY, but I don't want to spend money on materials until I know I am in love with the design.
I am doing a vineyard theme. My main color is sugarplum. (green/champagne accents) There is no green in the invite b/c it looks like a circus with the purple and green together. I want it to look elegant.
I would love any feedback that anyone can give. Do you love it? Hate it? Do I need to add anything? Change anything? Please be honest! I would rather have critiques than compliments so I can perfect it!

I like it. Simple yet elegant.

Question: Did you try the writing green? Also are your names bold? (Looks like they are but I'm not sure if it's just because the picture has been compressed). I don't know that I would do bold names it makes it look a bit heavy.

It looks really nice the way you have it. I love the grapevine decals. I know what you mean about the green and sugarplum together looking like a circus. If you're doing a belly band or a monogram maybe you can incorporate the green on the outside but you won't see it together with the sugarplum once the invite is opened.
Also, I don't know if you wanted us to proof read the invite but I would change to their wedding to at their wedding. I didn't know there was a Main Street in E. Northport. I mapquest it because I actually live here. You might want to check the addy because it didn't show up.

i would make the ribbon on the right side with the response card and stuff thicker. i have seen it on other invites a little thicker and i think it looks nicer

Thanks for your input, ladies. Sam, I used to live in East Northport. That's where my parents live. I just can't remember the exact address of our church and was too lazy to look it up, lol. So, I just put main street. It's just a 'mock up' invitation. I mainly wanted input on the design...but thanks for watching my back I will def. send you my final invite to proofread, hehe.
