I know they say there is a certain percentage of those invited that cancel, what is it? Also, if you send out save the dates does this still apply? FH wants to add 15 more people to the guest list, and I want like 170 to 180 to show up and we currently have 203. I told him no way, because then we will be at 218, so typically will that many people not attend?

They say the average amount of no's you get is 20-30%. For the most part I can say this really does apply to most people. You also have those few circumstances where very few say no and then some where more than 30% say no. So you never can know for sure but to be safe they say to estimate 20-30%

I just don't want to invite the 15 xtra then we have more then we hoped for cause the room is tight at 200 people. Decisions decisions .....

trust me i know its so hard. We had to guarantee 275 people which was fine. All along though i was so afraid of going over bc it was already costing so much for the RH for 275 guests and didnt want to pay more lol and i feared this the whole time. Then right before I sent out invites and was getting all the addresses, dh and his family decided not to invite this whole group of family members which changed things. Its funny bc we invited over 80 family members of his and 80 showed even more actually i think and that was with leaving out a big group of them lol. But in the end we ended up inviting about 330 guests or a little under and its so funny bc the whole time i feared going over and in the end i was under lol. It was under by just a little so i didnt mind, plus we got things thrown in for free for being a little under so worked out lol.
