im soooooooooooooooooo proud of myself!!!! i didnt go to the supermarket for an entireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee week! ok.. just once but i only got a watermelon and some lettuce...so to me that doesnt count.
but an ENTIRE week without food shopping is a huuuuuuuge accomplishment for me. going to see how many more days i can last!
i took inventory of all the food we have in the house..and i can go another few weeks..but i doubt i can last for another full week

That's some will power! You should set up a 'PeaPod' or Fresg Direct delivery with exactly what you need to get delivered. Then it will just come once every 2 wks or once a month. You won't have a need to go there and spend unneccessary $$$

We eat out a lot. A LOT. I do have enough pasta and other things to make sauce to last me through the apocalypse. FH will pick up milk once a week on his way home... or I'll stop in and get meat every now and then but usually when we go food shopping it's always over $200 because we wait until the last minute. I hate food shopping. I keep meaning to sign up for peapod.
That might work for you... that way you get the stuff you need and can't pick up random extra stuff you see at the store but don't really need.

lol its the act of spending 2+ hrs in a supermarket a few times a week that im also trying to break. i walk around with my ww calculator. dh gets embarassed when hes with me cuz it looks like im pinching pennies lol but i looooove seeing how many points EVERYTHING is
200$ a month is what im aiming for. cuz right now its 200+ a week, and thats ridiculous.. thats 800 a month. 800 a month = siiiiiiick car payment
