I am getting married April 08 at fox hollow & found out about the perfect wedding planner...seems pretty helpful. Anybody ever use it? are there any catches? I just booked the reception hall & kind of lost of what to do next so i thought the service they offer may come in handy. They also offered to take $10 bucks of the price pp if we use their floritst. Figured can't wrong with anybody associated with the scotto brothers
Any advice would be appreciated.

My sister got married there last year and used them....Me and my FH didn't see anything spectacular with what they did....I was the MOH and paid an extra $200 for her planner and his assistant to stay through the whole reception....wasn't worth it....he was either MIA or dancing with guests on the dance floor....just my experience with them...my sister thought they were helpful with helping with vendors (calling to confirm everything the week of and walk-through for the rehearsal at the church)...hope this helps.

I did not find them useful. By the time I had an appt. most of my vendors had been booked.

I've been 'using' PWP. I went to the first meeting with them and they help organize you and guide you in meeting, choosing etc vendors. I personally didn't find this helpful because by the time I met with them I already had a lot of my vendors. Though I've seen a lot of other brides there and they seem to like working with the planners. My first meeting didn't cost anything. I believe it is a free service that fox hollow provides....but I'm not 100% sure.
I am using the house florist and the 10 bucks off the centerpieces was nice and helped in costs.

i used them for the bridal concierge service...Summer made all the calls and made appointements to the vendors and such which was a big help since i dindt knwo where to start.....the first meeting was free and we're been in contact a few times since just confirm things....i also booked Summer as my day of coordinator which my parents thought was reasonably priced just to have someone dealing with all the vendors that isnt in the wedding party u know thats her job for the day.....also i used them to get my save the dates and probably just because they are nice and easy to work with use them for invitations, i think u get a discount on certain things if you order through them...hope that helps

I met with them and honestly did not find them very helpful. We had a horrible experience with the one vendor they recommended (a DJ) and the whole meeting was like regular wedding info that I already knew. I decided not to use them.

Thanks everybody! yeah, i really seem to get alot of good tips/advice on this website, so i am having 2nd thoughts about using them. i may use their house floritst though for the discount.
