attention jewish brides, 2nd wedding

Wondering if any of you got a 'get'. I dont think i need one because I'm getting married by a reform rabbi and my first wedding was conservative.

The rabbi knows I was previously married and did not metnion me needing one...

any insight on this?

Thanks girls!

I dont know any reformed rabbis who require them. The conservatives and orthodox do bc they consider any children born after without one illegimate.

I think you're in the clear.

the only potential issues could occur in the future:
ie: A: if you decide to join a conservative or orthodox congregation or B: if your child(ren) wants to marry a conservative or orthodox person.

if you are going to join a reform congregation and raise your children reform then you will be fine.

i know that many conservative rabbis include a religioius prenup when the ketubah and civil document are signed that guarantees that the woman will receive a get if a divorce happens. do you remember signing something like that?
