...So my wedding's at 9:30 am but I really want a black tie type event. Can I put that on my invitations or is it just foolish to make people wear gowns and stuff in the AM????

i dont think it matters what time of day it is....if u want it black tie then go for it

You should do what you want it is yours and your fiances day and that is what matters. Don't look back years from now wishing you had that you will regret it. Good Luck
