Attire(BP) Questions...

Chicas....
My Fh wants to purchase his Tux...
When is a good time to do so? Couple months before the wedding?

I believe I will go with my 2 Bm (Amy & Jenn) to get their dress on 2/27... Perhpas David's bridal.

Now.. My Dad/FFIL and the rest of the BP will RENT the tux...
When Should we RENT IT?

Now... as for My Dad & Fh's Stepdad, we need to wait until My Mom & FMIL get their dress so they can match right?
PLEASE recommend Places where the dresses are AWESOME for MOB/MOG (My mom/his mom love dresses that doesnt make them look older)

we just got my mom her dress from esteles! she's plus size and we got her a dress that makes her look HOTT! and their prices are great compared to these bridal salons that want to charge you $800 for a random dress!

AWW..so cute. FH wanted the same thing, but it's pricey/

He bought the tux he already has (which no longer fits!!) at Men's Wearhouse for about $450. For him to buy the tux he's renting for our wedding at Tuxedo Park would be about $850.

For MOB/MOG we actually drive to Staten Island to this place called Ivory and Company. They're fantastic there. They have everything, totally appropriate for all types of MOB/MOG, and their alterations are great. You can also go to Estelle's but I am not a fan. The service is totally different.

For tuxedos the bride and groom go first ti pick everything out and then the guys go for a fitting. We went about months before the wedding and the fititng will prob be in April.

For the dads, they don't really have to match the moms. You can also pick the tuxedos and reserve them and then go back to pick the vests, etc once you have color swatches.

I think normally all the GM and Fathers wear the same tuxedos.

FH's mom mentionedbuying FH's tux, in that case I think we would go with all difrernt looks or rent a vest if we do that. I am a fan of the suspender look, so we might just do the same tie?

That's so cute...Lovely idea but not sure when Mike would wear again... If we were doing suits, he would probably buy.

Go to Totally You in Wantagh (possibly Merrick) on Merrick Road. They have a ton of dresses in all sorts of styles and colors and designers...and the ladies that work there were AWESOME with my mom!!! WE also found that they are a considerable amount cheaper than most boutiques!!
