Attn: homeowners or anyone that knows anything about Oil

Who does everyone use?

I just got quoted by Meenan at:

2.369 for first delivery & then going on a fluctuating plan b/c if I tried to lock in a rate now, it's would to high but with the fluctuating one the max cost per gallon could only be 2.669

Gold Contract: 44.95 +tax includes 24 hour service & regular tune-ups

Platinum Contract: 134.95 +tax, includes all above plus free coverage on replacement parts at anytime plus on your first delivery you get $100 worth of free oil

Anyone else have any other suggestions??

I have a contract witn Marran Warmth and Security. I did NOT lock in a rate. At the time that i started the fuel charges were RIDICULOUS and I thought I was better off taking my chances! I can still lock a rate at any time.

My monthly charge is 220/month which includes all service and any oil I need. If they fill me up, they leave me a little note letting me knwo that they were there and how much oil I might have taken. The surplus (for oil I didn't use) is calculated at the end ot the year and issued as a credit. I like the payment plan becuase I just do NOT love the idea of getting slammed with a $700 oil bill in the middle of December when I am trying to do my Christmas shopping!
