ATTN: If you clicked on the link in amy&anthony's post

If you clicked on the link in amy&anthony's post that took you to the other website that had pictures of her son's room, you may have downloaded BullsEye..

Bulls Eye is an advertising software like Gator that runs in the background on your computer. Spyware!

I do not think that Amy was aware of this when she posted the link. I just wanted to warn you, so you can remove it if you want.

how would you know if it got on your computer? is it a virus?

It is a Trojan Horse, my anti-virus software caught it. I am not positive how to remove it otherwise.
If you downloaded it when you go to the Control panel and click on Add Remove new software you will see the program there.

I am not positive how to fully remove it without an anti-virus or Anti-Spyware program.

no i didn't download it i went into my add and removes and i didn't see it in there. thanks anyway for the warning.

I ran all my spy-ware & ad-aware programs & it didn't find anything.

If you have a firewall it may have stopped it.

If you got a ton of pop ups it is probally installed on your computer.

I dont understand. I got one pop up (Bullseye). It didnt pop up when I was on the site though... later. I also have have Norton Anti-Virus 2005, so how could I get it?

BTW - I FMd everyone who replied to my post and so far noone has anything.

If this is Spyware Norton2005 might not pick it up since it isn't a good spyware catcher!

Thanks for posting this! I noticed this morning when I came in that I was getting LOTS of pop ups and had no idea why. Also, did anyone else notice that their LIWeddings looked weird? It was very strange and I just uninstalled it (thanks for the info on how) and now it looks fine. Darn spyware!
